What People Say About the Book

First, I want to say that the illustrations were lovely and appropriate to your poem! Roland noticed little Debbie in various pages witnessing her (your) poem come to life.As I read he excitedly said, “There are rhymes!”He said his favorite picture was of the lion roaring. He very much liked the lion as a teacher. He enjoyed identifying all the animals.Roland asked what a “mental block” was.He wanted to hear the story a second time which I obliged.

What People Say About the Book

Cooper rated your book a 10+She was so excited to read it and explore each page, such beautiful work!  I like that little girl on her mom's lap. The cat is so cute. The lion and his ears. I love the lamb and his nose. That red purse on the hyena is so cool. I really like the weasel and the dolphins glasses too. Ohhh, the green butterfly. I really love that lion. The mouse is eating a lot of cheese. The whale sneezing is soooo funny. There’s a dog in the classroom too. All the animals look happy. I like all the kids in the classroom, the one in the blue dress looks like me. Love you!!!

Children are known to listen or sing to the song as they flip through the pages of the book.

Some children even dance. Then when they song ends, they can drift off to sleep and dream about animals going to school.
